Current BDAG Members

Current members training a new dog or puppy…

Existing members who want to train a new puppy or new dog will normally be placed in the Introduction class.  Existing members get preference for places in the introductory class, but we need 8 weeks’ notice to secure a place – after that time places are offered to new members.  Where an existing member has achieved the Geelong Canine Citizen Award with another dog, consideration will be given to placing the new dog in a Foundation 1 class.

Beyond the introduction class

Once you have completed your first training term with BDAG, every effort will be made to place you in the most suitable class for subsequent terms.  Please note that classes are filled on a first-registered and paid, first-placed  basis, and occasionally your first preference for a class may not be possible.

Renew Your Annual Membership (due 1 January)

Membership is renewed each January for a 12 month period.

For 2021, all members who were financial members in 2020 will have their membership extended to the end of 2021 at no additional cost.

In future years, Membership will be renewed through our on-line booking system, where you will purchase a membership ‘ticket’.  Details and the link will be sent out towards the end of each year.

Register to take a class in 2021

Before the beginning of each term, a link will be emailed to all existing members, inviting you to state your training preferences and purchase a class ‘ticket’ via our on-line booking system.

If you are a new member (that is, you have not completed one full term of introduction training), go to Joining BDAG (membership).
